‘Demolition house’ gives life to waste materials
Priyanka Ohri | Jul 1 2009

A 1950s house transformed by Argentinean architects Gustavo Dieguez and Lucas Gilardi of Estudio a77 is an example in itself. Constituting of all the recycled and reclaimed materials, 50 meters of recycled highway guardrails, 300 meters of discarded metal profiles, discarded wooden, iron doors, windows found in trash all have together contributed in the formation of the amazing architecture. The house has a large loft space on the ground floor, the first floor defining the bedrooms and a courtyard. The rooftop especially features pool and grass to give it a contemporary look and feel. This house is a perfect exemplar of rendering life to waste stuff.
