Glass jars are one thing that overflow our houses day in and day out. And a day comes when we have so many that we have no choice but to throw them out. However, if we look at the other side we always have a choice of reusing the glass jars. These ugly jars can be used in such a way that these become pieces of home decor, functional containers and also gifts. All you need is some creativity.
To begin with:
To reuse the glass jars as anything you need to clean the jars thoroughly by removing the labels etc.
•As drinking glasses
You can use a straw and drink juices, smoothies, coffee or tea out of your cleaned empty jars.
•As Containers
The second best use for these glass jars is to reuse them as containers to keep some of the grocery items that would fit in like cereal, pulses and may be even nuts.
•As Collection Jars
You could use the jars as collection jars, displaying your collection of sea shells or marbles. And, when you have done so, you could keep all the jars in one corner of the table or somewhere you think these would look nice and the ugly jars would make to be pretty good decoration pieces.
•As a Recipe Keeper
You could make your own stuff at home like butters, pickles, jams and use these jars to store your recipes.
•As Holders
You could use the glass jars as a desk accessory that could hold your pencils and pens or use it in the kitchen to hold your cutlery. You could even use it as a holder for all the things that you need for sewing.
•As Vases
1) You could either use the cleaned vases as they are to hold some flowers or could even decorate it for the purpose.
2) Hanging vases
