1) The decision that you want to have a kitchen with high quality equipments or no, is entirely yours because the cost will be accordingly. You can consider that a kitchen with good quality grill might cost you $3,000 and upwards and more the features you add the more costly it will get.

2) Once you have made that decision the next step would be to measure the area where you want your kitchen to be.

3) Then draw a rough sketch of the design of the kitchen, the way you want it to be, one thing that you might consider at this time is the amount of guests you usually have. This will help you manage the space better. Then you can take the decision about equipments required in the kitchen pertaining to their size and necessity. Viz. if people are more you might go in for bigger grills, ovens and few more things. So, ultimately the layout of your kitchen will be according to you and your families’ needs.

4) Now take in consideration the type of building materials you want to use. From the natural materials, you have the option of using weathered stone and wood whereas, you can use granite in countertops and remember that you will need a lot of counter space.

6) Eating area -You have an option of furnishing the eating area with the table that seated four, eight or two, again depending on your requirements.

7) It’s an outdoor kitchen and it would not be fun if you have to spend most of the time running in getting stuff, so you might consider furnishing your outdoor kitchen with drawers, cabinets, refrigerator, outdoor oven, bar etc. to make it the counter part of your interior kitchen.
