You have old magazines, papers or bottle tops or anything that has the capability of being recycled at home; use them to make magazine holders or containers. This is exactly that I describe as living with a purpose, using every bit to contribute towards building a sustainable product and environment.
A magazine holder (18666 fairly traded magazine holder) made of old magazines, artisans in Indonesia weaves together old magazines with a metal feet finish. It measure 36cm x 40cm x 25cm.
A bottle top basket (18667 Recycled Bottle Top Large Storage Basket) made by numerous colorful bottle tops is handcrafted by artisans in Moradabad, India. On good wages for their labor, their employers also fund schooling for 20 pupils, who lack the access to the educational facility. (Pictured above).
